My very favorite stories are those of happenstance creating extraordinary things. One such story is the one of sweet Emery Lane.
Shelby and Wyatt had moved from Colorado to Louisiana and soon discovered they were expecting. Traveling home for Christmas gave them a great chance to have a photo session to announce it. Shelby found me, by happenstance, through Facebook 1,500 miles away. We chatted online to plan their session and then the time came for them to travel to Denver. I instantly connected with both Shelby and Wyatt and the photos from their session reflected that. Thankfully, they missed home and moved back shortly after.
This move home allowed me the honor of documenting every step of their journey to parenthood from the announcement all the way to today, Emery’s first birthday!
